Where the brand once addressed a mass-market audience with flavoured gummies, it now positions itself on what it calls high-end nutraceuticals: few references, patented actives and published dosages.

Deep Sleep [02]: a five-active sleep formula

At 34,90 €, this product combines melatonin 1.8 mg, GABA 400 mg, valerian 150 mg, passionflower 150 mg and tryptophan 200 mg. The brand's argument is that melatonin alone acts on falling asleep but not on staying asleep, hence the four additional actives. Two capsules 30 minutes before bed.

Pain Regulation [03]: micronised OptiPEA®

The most expensive reference in the range, at 59,90 € for 90 capsules. It is built on OptiPEA®, a micronised form of palmitoylethanolamide dosed at 400 mg. Micronisation aims to correct the poor absorption of generic PEA. Three capsules a day, one after each meal.

Digest Flow: the DigeZyme® enzyme complex

At 34,90 €, this product is built on DigeZyme®, a complex patented by the Sabinsa laboratory, dosed at 200 mg per capsule. It brings together five enzymes, each quantified: amylase 4,800 U, protease 1,200 U, lactase 800 U, cellulase 220 U and lipase 40 U. One capsule before lunch and one before dinner.

• Digest Flow: 1 capsule before lunch and 1 before dinner, as a course or occasionally before a heavy meal.

Digest Flow is the only product in the range that can be used occasionally, since the enzymes act on the meal being eaten. The other three require regular intake over several weeks.

Contraindications also differ by product. Cortisol Control and Digest Flow are not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding, Deep Sleep adds psychotropic treatments, and Pain Regulation calls for medical advice in case of immunosuppressant or anticoagulant treatment. Medical advice remains recommended if you are on any ongoing treatment.

In summary

Apaise stands out less for its promises than for the way it documents them. Four products, four named actives, dosages published item by item: that level of transparency is still rare in this market.
