Nutrition Pro review: how good are the Novagen collagen and Naticol® capsules?

My analysis of Nutrition Pro: the Novagen and the collagen capsules

For this review, I focused on the two products at the heart of Nutrition Pro's collagen range: the Novagen®, its new tripeptide marine collagen, and the marine collagen and hyaluronic acid capsules, the brand's long-standing bestseller with more than 3,500 reviews on its product page. For each one, I went through the official composition, the recommended intake, the real price per day and the sources cited by the brand.

📌 Novagen®: the premium tripeptide collagen

The Novagen is based on Naticol® x3Peptide, a French marine collagen that the brand presents as the first patented tripeptide marine collagen in Europe. What sets it apart is the size of the fragments: 25% of the collagen comes as tripeptides of 300 Daltons, whereas a standard hydrolysed collagen sits at around 2,000 Daltons. Each 5 g serving therefore provides 1,250 mg of tripeptides, together with 120 mg of vitamin C.

And that is the whole formula: no flavouring, no sweetener, just an unflavoured powder to mix into a glass of water, a coffee or a smoothie. The collagen is certified Friend of the Sea, ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000. Expect to pay €44.99 for 30 days, i.e. €1.50 per day, or €40.50 with the code LMC. The brand recommends a course of at least 8 weeks.

One point of caution, though: the clinical study the brand highlights (DermaProof Asia, 2022, at 2.5 g per day for 8 weeks) concerns the Naticol® x3Peptide ingredient, and its report is only available on request. The Novagen provides twice that amount, which is consistent, but these results are no promise for every user. At the time of our analysis, the product was listed as "Coming soon" on the brand's website.

📌 Marine collagen / hyaluronic acid capsules: the affordable bestseller

This is the brand's most popular product. Four vegetable capsules provide 1,208 mg of Naticol® type 1 hydrolysed marine collagen, 200 mg of hyaluronic acid, 160 mg of vitamin C and 3.96 mg of manganese. The collagen has a molecular weight of 2,000 Daltons and also comes from sustainable fishing certified Friend of the Sea.

The 120-capsule jar covers one month for €29.99, i.e. €1 per day. With the code LMC, it drops to €27, i.e. €0.90 per day. The subscription brings the price down to €25.49, but the code cannot be added on top. As for claims, vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of the skin, and manganese contributes to the normal formation of connective tissue.

The limitation is well known: at 1.2 g of collagen per day, you stay below the 2.5 to 10 g used in most studies on hydrolysed collagen. These capsules are mainly about a simple routine, with hyaluronic acid on top. For a higher dose, the brand's powder version provides 10 g of collagen per day for €39.99.

The verdict on format and intake

The two products suit two different profiles. The capsules are for people who want a routine with no preparation and a controlled budget; you simply need to remember to take four capsules a day, which can be spread throughout the day. The Novagen requires mixing a serving every morning, but it provides four times more collagen and the shortest form in the range.

When it comes to buying, the brand delivers in 1 to 3 working days, offers interest-free payment in three instalments and a subscription at -15% on its products. Customer service answers Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. Be careful with the refund policy, however: it provides for a 14-day period but excludes food supplements from returns.

Nutrition Pro has a rating of 4.4/5 on Trustpilot from 2,065 reviews as of 1 October 2026, and the collagen capsules have more than 3,500 reviews on their product page. Feedback mainly highlights the quality of the products. These reviews remain individual impressions: collagen has no authorised health claim in Europe, and no result can be guaranteed.

Both products are derived from fish: avoid them if you have a fish allergy. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should seek advice from a healthcare professional before use.

Overview of the collagen range

The range includes five products. In addition to the Novagen and the capsules, Nutrition Pro offers a marine collagen and hyaluronic acid powder (300 g tub, 10 g of collagen per day, €39.99), a drinkable collagen in grape-flavoured shots (5 g of collagen per shot, €39.99 for 20 days) and a Duo Peau Jeune that combines the collagen capsules with a retinol capsule (€41.23 instead of €54.98). This duo is contraindicated during pregnancy, when planning a pregnancy and while breastfeeding, because of the retinol.

This range has one real merit: it lets you choose your dose and format without changing the raw material, since every product is based on Naticol® collagen.

Technical analysis and expert verdict

The strengths are clear: a patented and traceable collagen, compositions published to the milligram, a range covering every budget and format, and a low entry price. The Novagen adds a real technical difference with its tripeptide form.

The limitations come down to three points: the modest dosage of the capsules, a Novagen study available only on request, and a strict return policy on supplements. Nothing that rules the brand out, but worth knowing before you order.
